What would happen if the thirty-six percent of downtown Los Angeles currently taken up by parking lots and spaces could be converted to other uses? Sarah Fleming, Tam Thien Tran and Toon Virochpoka, architecture students at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo envision an alternate future for Los Angeles in their short film, “Downtown Los Angeles: what was, what is, what is to come.”
